wheel和roll在表示推的时候的区别

牛津高阶里是这样分别解释的：

wheel.动词[usually +adv./prep.]通常后加形容词或介词

1）move sth with wheels 有轮子的移动

a.推的东西是有轮子的。如： She wheeled her bicycle across the road.

b.移动的东西是在有轮子的事物里，或在有轮子的事物上。 如：The nurse wheeled him along the corridor.（推的是轮椅）

c.圆圈式移动 Birds wheeled above us in the sky.

roll.动词

1)turn over翻过来，翻倒

a.向特定的方向翻或移动; 以一个圆的对象做移动，如：The ball rolled down the hill. ◆ We watched the waves rolling onto the beach. ◆ Tears rolled down her cheeks. ◆ [VN] Delivery men were rolling barrels across the yard.

b.在同一个地方保持圆的移动，或使事物保持圆圈式的状态。如：a dog rolling in the mud ◆ [VN] He was rolling a pencil between his fingers. ◆ Her eyes rolled.

c.绕到不同的方向，如： She rolled over to let the sun brown her back. ◆ He rolled onto his back.

d.在轮子上移动，如：The car began to roll back down the hill.

这样看来，我觉得wheel主要是与轮子有关的推，而roll是与圆圈有关，而且是为形成圆圈而做的移动。
