belong与possess有什么区别

总体来说，表达A占有B的关系时，前者是B belongs to A，后者是A possesses B。具体如下：

belong表示属于，被占有，B belongs to A表示B属于A，possess表示占有，A possesses B表示A占有B；

belong是不及物动词，后面需要用to和with等介词搭配使用，possess是及物动词，后面可以直接接宾语；

belong意思较为广泛，belong除了可以表示“被占有”的意思外，还有用于表达“归属某一类”和“源自于”的意思，而possess不能；

possess可以用于表达“具有什么样的特性”，而belong不能。
