on和in的地点用法及区别是什么？

一、in和on的不同：

1、如果是树上结的果实或者开的花长的树叶用on，指的是树上本身的东西。

2、如果是外部加上去的用in，鸟只是呆在树木上面，并不是树木本身一体的，所以不用on而是用in。

in、on的区别：

on表示“在物体的表面上”，而in表示“在其中”。

指能用in的表达方式有in the morning，in the afternoon，in the evening和in the night。

只能用on的表达方式有on the next morning，on the following afternoon，on the preceding evening，on the night before，on the morning of 6 January等。

二、侧重点不同

1、in time：in time表示及时，指没有迟到，时间还充裕。

2、on time：on time表示准时，按时，指按规定的时刻，不早不晚。

三、指代不同

1、in time：及时，按时，适时；终于，最后；合拍子，有节奏地；到底，究竟。

2、on time：adv. 准时。
