photograph与photo有什么区别？

一、词义不同

1、photograph： 照片，相片， 摄影，为......照相；在照片上显得

例句：I chanced on this old photograph in his drawer.  我在他的抽屉里偶然发现了这张旧照片。

2、photo： 照片的意思

例句：He snatched away the photo.  她把照片抢了过去。

二、词性不同

1、photograph：可以当动词使用，给某个人拍照

例句：If your camera is not brought into focus, the photograph will be blurried. 

如果照相机镜头聚焦不准， 照片就会模糊不清。

2、photo：只能当名词使用，意思为照片

例句：Now our photo should be like this. 现在我们的照片应该是这样的。
