Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. 'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily.

'It's none of your business,' the young man said rudely. 'This is a private conversation!'

【故事】古时候宋国有个人，他嫌禾苗长得太慢，就一棵一棵地往上拔起一点，回来对家里人说：“今天我累坏了，我帮助苗长高了！”他儿子听说后，到地里一看，苗都枯死了（孟子）

A man of the state of Song was worried about his seedings growing too slowly. He pulled up the seedings one by one and came home exhausted.

"I am tired out today. I helped the seedings to grow," he said to hs family.

His son hurried to the fields to have a look and found that all the seedings had shrivelled up.
