so和such what和how的区别

1.what与how

都是疑问词.简单说,what一般是名词性质,做主语、宾语、表语,how一般是副词性质,做状语.

e.g. What is your name?（表语）

What are you going to do?(宾语）

How do you like the book?（状语）

2.such...that.../so...that.../so that...

such...that...和so...that...都是“如此……以至于……”的意思,不同的是so后面接形容词或副词,such的固定搭配是“such + a/an + 形容词 + 名词”

e.g. You are so lovely （a girl) that I would like to be friends with you. (括号里的表示可省略）

You are such a lovely girl that I would like to be friends with you.

so that...是“为了……”、“以至于……”的意思,可引导表目的的状语从句或表结果的状语从句.接表目的的状语从句时,从句中有情态动词；接表结果的状语从句时,从句中没有情态动词.

e.g. I need to hurry up so that I could get there on time.(so that 引导表目的的状语从句）

I woke up at 8:30 so that I was late for the class.
